The Journey Continues in the New Year 2025!!

                                                 New Year Same Journey

As we begin the New Year 2025, I find myself reflecting on all that I accomplished last year, especially as I celebrated the milestone of turning 40 in October 2024.

**The Journey Continues in the New Year**

I am back to podcasting, focusing on making more music, and working with a management company since I no longer have the time to handle everything myself. I studied for and passed the big Insurance Producer Test, so I can now add "Licensed Insurance Producer" to my resume. I am currently living in a single-family home—not that it's the end of apartment life. My kids are enjoying the privacy of our backyard and appreciate their new neighbors. I attend my home church every Sunday and never miss a day of work. I am grateful to be here, learning from my mistakes and striving to improve my life in Jesus' name this 2025.

Thank you all once again for your support and understanding. I truly appreciate your willingness to share this journey with me. Remember, we are all navigating our own struggles, and it's okay to lean on each other. Let's keep the conversation going and continue to inspire one another.

Take care and stay tuned for more .......... in 2025! 🎇🎇🎆🎆

Episode 20: Sister-to-Sister Estrangement - Now Streaming

This is a hot topic that is very personal to me and, I’m sure, to a lot of others out there. Let’s get into the facts about sibling rivalry with sisters.

Check it out on Spotify, YouTube, or wherever you listen to your favorite podcasts. Enjoy!

This episode really resonated with me. It explored a topic that hits very close to home. For the first time in all my years as the oldest sister, one of my siblings has chosen to stop speaking to me. 😔 It's been a challenging experience to process, and I've found myself reflecting on our relationship and the events that led us to this point. ðŸ¤”

I pray for everyone who is dealing with sibling or family rivalry. May communication improve and love grow stronger. ❤️ Wishing everyone a New Year filled with hope and understanding! 🎉✨

**The Holidays Are Here, but the Spirit Is Not**

'Hey everyone! So, I've been thinking a lot about the holidays lately, and honestly, it just doesn’t feel the same. Maybe it’s because I’ve been in “wife and mommy mode” for the past ten years, or perhaps, this time of year brings back memories of loved ones we've lost, making everything feel a bit heavier. When I think about the holidays now, it’s less about gifts and more about family.

As a kid, the excitement was all about present unwrapping, but now? I long for those family moments that can't be replicated. I want my kids to know the people I’ve loved, but life has its way of changing things, doesn’t it? It’s tough, but I hope all the festive decorations— the reds, greens, and sparkles— can still bring a little joy, not just a reminder of what’s missing. What about you all? Are your holidays feeling different too?'

**What’s Making the Holiday Spirit Fade?**

Do you relate to any of these points?

  • - **Financial Difficulties:** Money troubles significantly affect holiday spirits.

  • - **Pandemic Effects:** The lasting impact of the pandemic has led to feelings of loneliness and has changed family dynamics.

  • - **Mental Health Struggles:** Issues such as anxiety and depression can be heightened during the holidays.

  • - **Pressure of Expectations:** The expectations placed on individuals can feel overwhelming, making it tough to keep up.

**Let’s Bring Back the Spirit!**

Here are some ideas to reignite the holiday cheer:

- **Foster Connections**: Try virtual gatherings if you can’t get together in person, or just reach out to someone you haven’t talked to in a while.

- **Acts of Kindness**:Bless someone with $100 just because.. ( it doesn't have to always be financial) but.. you get the point

**Start New Traditions**: Go out, for a Family Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner, Complete a Family Activity, etc.

**Take Care of Yourself**: Take some time for yourself, Chill out for a bit, be present, and think about all the good stuff you’ve done and what’s coming your way.

**Wrapping It Up**

At the end of the day, we all have our challenges, but it’s important to find joy in the little moments. Even if this season feels different, there’s always hope for future celebrations that can bring us back together.

Let’s lift each other up and maybe, just maybe, bring back some of that holiday spirit! What are some of your favorite traditions?  I'm in search of some new ones myself.
